My Charge 2 worked fine with iOS 12 on my old iPhone 6s. However, yesterday I upgraded to the new iPhone XR and it wouldn't sync. I tried all the suggestions (turning off Bluetooth and then back on again, etc.) and then finally resorted to that last suggestion which was to reboot my Charge 2. Low and behold, it worked. However, this morning, I have the same issue. It just shows that it's "looking" for my device and that it is not connected. I tried all the same steps again and nothing. When I get home from work I will reboot it again when I have my Fitbit charger handy.... but how can I get it to stay paired/connected?? Any suggestions? Thanks!
UPDATE:
Interesting.... I just checked it again now it seems to be connected and syncing fine... I didn't do anything differently. Mystery solved.... for now anyway!

No step 5 appeared on my screen. I have removed and reinstalled the app numerous times. I have spent hours on the phone with support. This is now the third Charge 2 I have been issued, and it still will not pair with my iPhone.
None would pair with my iPad. The app has been removed from the iPad. The Charge 2 will not pair with the phone. Truly disappointing and waste of time.

I appreciate that you responded. But the fact that I now have three replacement Charge 2 pebbles tells me that three times we went as far as we could together through the standard trouble-shooting script with no solution.
I have deleted and redownloaded the app so many times under supervision, and on my own, I believe I could be a consultant, and have replacement pebbles to send.
The original Charge 2 worked fine until the screen went blank. It was replaced under warrantee, and I now know the trouble-shooting steps.
After I go to the set up page, and agree to the install, the Fitbit just scrolls and the phone keeps
searching until one or the other shuts off. I have done all the prompts, (offered on the screen, and
by the technitions) and never get to the stage where the four-digit code is supposed to appear.
I have tried pairing the thing in and out of the charging device, removed other related apps,. reset the phone, etc.
Would you like a spare pebble?

I found if you go to account and then your fit bit and set to all day synch it works fine. You don’t have to reinstall anything. I too upgraded from 6s to xr.

Hello @Mmsog thanks for joining the conversation, it's great to have you on board! It's nice to see you too @Cuddles4610, thanks for taking the time to reply.
@Mmsog I appreciate you have joined us and let us know All-day Sync is working great for you, I'm very glad.
@Cuddles4610 If you're having trouble with All-day Sync, please go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device. Then open the Fitbit app and enable All-day Sync again. When a pop-up appears asking you to Pair your tracker to your device, tap on Pair and continue.
Give these steps a try and let us know in case you need anything else.

I’ve not been able to pair the Charge 2 tracker to my iPhone XR. It was working perfectly with my iPhone 6S until yesterday when I changed to iPhone XR. Tried the below steps but still can’t get it fixed.
1. Reboot Fitbit
2. Deleted and reinstalled the Fitbit app on iPhone.
3. Reboot phone
4. Launch Fitbit app, went to “set up a device”, chose charge 2 and it will be stuck at searching for device to pair with.
Totally helpless and at a loss.
Has anyone experienced this before?

Can’t pair my Alta and iPhone XR. Followed all steps - Fitbit app says everything is synced and paired - Bluetooth lists Alta as connected. No texts or calls come on Fitbit
