Unable to pair Flex2 due to error code 500

Hi, I bought a new flex 2 and Aria 2 which arrived yesterday. Charged up overnight. Aria 2 has connected with the app no problem but the flex 2 will not pair. The app is finding it no problem but after I tap twice to confirm I get an Error 500 message.

i have tried several times. I have reset the flex as instructed. Turned phone off and on. Reinstalled Fitbit app. Turned Bluetooth off and on.

all to no avail.

I am hugely disappointed. Please can you help?

Thanks for bringing this issue related to an HTTP error to my attention. At this moment I would like to ask you to go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device. Then, restart your phone and try to set up your Flex 2 as a new device in your account.
