Unable to pair iPhone with iHome 230

I have an iHome 230 with Bluetooth streaming. The Bluetooth worked fine until I got a Fitbit, at which point the iHome would not pair with my phone. The Fitbit signal was not causing a problem because my computer would still pair to the speaker with the Fitbit and my phone in the room. I'm now trying to pair a new iPhone 7 with my Bluetooth iHome and the pairing fails every time. I'm following the pairing instructions perfectly and my phone detects the speaker, but won't actually pair. Is my Fitbit Charge HR being linked to my phone (even though all-day sync is off and the Fitbit isn't syncing during the pairing process) interfering with my phone's ability to pair with other Bluetooth devices?

@KatNDog292 It is possible. If you manage multiple Bluetooth connections on your iPhone, you may experience interruptions with any consistently streaming Bluetooth connection.

These interruptions are limitations of both iOS and Bluetooth, click here for more information.
