Unable to post pictures in Fitbit app groups

I have tried and tried to post a picture to a group and after a few seconds it disappears. I have deleted the app and reinstalled and it still won’t post my picture! What can I do? I’m new to Fitbit literally just today created my account and already having issues.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, as well as the steps tried prior to posting. To look into this, may I know if you're able to your posts on your profile? Do you see an error message when posting a picture? Also, does this happen on both closed and open groups?

I understand you've tried some steps, but please log out from the Fitbit app, force quit the Fitbit app, reboot your phone, open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.

It doesn’t let me post to my own profile either. No error message I’ll post it it looks like it’s there and when I refresh it’s gone. I’m only in open groups as I just set up my account and haven’t added friends yet and am waiting to buy a Fitbit so I’m just using my phone as the tracker. I’ve deleted the app turned my phone off installed it and tried numberous times to post and they won’t post.

I can’t even cheer posts, comment on posts or send friend requests. Wanted to try this out until my Fitbit comes in and am highly disappointed in the app already

Thanks for joining this thread and sharing the issues that you're having with the Fitbit app. Because your post didn't mention, let me recommend the following steps:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. Check if the Fitbit app is updated on your iPhone.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.
  5. Pull down on the screen to force a manual sync and try posting a new picture in your closed group.

I have the same problem for more than a year — can’t post to groups, can’t ‘like’ others’ posts in groups, no error messages. Have tried all the steps suggested above, nothing worked, so I stopped trying for a long time now. Today I decided to give it a try once again (I thought it should have being fixed by now), but now even the groups have disappeared all together. What’s going on Fitbit? This app seems to have been totally abandoned by its team.

Thanks for trying the suggestions shared above. I'm sorry the issue persists and to look into this, may I know the model and OS version of your phone? Also, as a last resort, let's try uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app, as well as rebooting your phone to see if that works.

@milalala About your other inquiry, let me share that open groups were removed from the Fitbit app on March 27th. I understand your point of view and appreciate your feedback on this situation. Any resolution here? My friend is experiencing the exact same issue. He’s made multiple new accounts and reinstalled the app - nothing works. He is also using an iPhone Pro Max 14. Could it be an issue in compatibility with the iPhone 14?

It's such a shame that open groups were removed! It was very motivating for me to see other peoples' posts and achievments, and to share mine as well. I don't have real life friends on fitbit to connect with and make a closed group. And making friends with strangers was always pain in the a**, for many of them were looking for something else. Without the groups I've stopped using fitbit alltogether.

Hi, no I’ve given up, I have exact same phone and I’ve reinstalled app etc nothings worked so I’ve left the group and have not been using Fitbit app as much
