Has the ability to rename a workout type been removed in 4.04?
Previously I've been starting and stopping workouts via the "Martial Arts" exercise shortcut on my Charge 5, and then going into the workout record via the exercise tab in the app and renaming the workout with a custom name to reflect specifically what I had been doing [e.g., "Class", "Form Practice", "Weapon Training", etc.]
Now the only thing that seems to be editable is the start and stop time for the workout.
Is there something obvious I'm missing?

Previously, I commented in this thread how to access the dashboard on the web and edit the workout that way. I think I even joked that they'll take it away as soon as they see my comment. Now, I am sure that is the case. They ARE indeed reading these comments, per the fitbit reply above. If they were working to resolve this issue, why would they continue to remove any other workaround that we find in the meantime? Soon they'll take these community boards away as well, just watch.

Now that the desktop dashboard is gone, what is the solution to editing the type of Activities on the app dashboard? This has been a known issue for a long time, and the only workaround has been taken away. Please incorporate a proper 'edit' function in the next update!!!

This has been bugging me for months. I can't believe it still hasn't been fixed. Fitbit, please fix this. Between not being able to change the workout type or manually enter steps walked while on a treadmill (under standing desk so my arm isn't swinging so I lose credit for 5-10k steps per day), Apple Watch is calling my name.
