Hello, for the past two days, I’ve been unable to reply messages from friends and they all think I’m ignoring them. Whenever I try to reply on the Fitbit app, it says “conversation is view only” and when I try on web, it shows “

Hi @SunsetRunner - Is this a new problem? Were you able to reply to messages before? Which phone or iPhone are you using? Let us know.
Here is a link to instructions on how to respond to messages.

tried updating the app to the latest version, uninstalled and installed, logged out and back in, still the same.

@SunsetRunner I’m surprised to hear you were able to respond to messages before since you have an iPhone. Apple is not allowing iPhone/Fitbit users to reply to messages. Please do check over the tips I supplied in my previous reply ... just in case. The bottom of that page says:
Note that devices paired to an iPhone or Windows 10 phone can only respond to Fitbit app notifications.

Oh wow! I just went through it. You mean Apple doesn’t let you reply messages on Fitbit app for iOS ?

@SunsetRunner - Messages within your Fitbit app are from Fitbit itself. You should be able to reply to those. But you cannot reply to messages sent to your Fitbit device from your phone’s messaging app.

Yes and that’s the problem I’m facing right now, I’m not able to reply messages within my Fitbit app on my iPhone. Is it clearer now?

Yes, that makes it clearer, @SunsetRunner . Thanks. Unfortunately, about the only other thing I can suggest is to check your privacy settings and check with your friends to make sure they have not changed their privacy settings. I tried to send you a message via Fitbit, but your privacy settings won’t allow me to do that. If this does not help, you may want to contact Fitbit Support.
