Unable to send messages on the Fitbit app

Need help really, can add friends, cheer, taunt etc but I can’t send a message to a friend on the app. If I click the message button it doesn’t do anything. It doesn’t redirect me to a page where I would compose a message. Any ideas what could be causing this? Uninstalled etc, creating this community account didn’t bring across my friends from the ios app or any of my posts, are these platforms different? Help Pls

Thanks for the details shared on your post and for the troubleshooting tried prior posting. As you may know this issue is affecting just the private messages on the Fitbit app, but you should be able to receive messages and reply from the previous conversations on the messages option.

 

We’re currently working to resolve it and hope to have a fix soon. Be sure to keep your Fitbit device and app up-to-date to ensure you receive the quickest resolution. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.

 

Additionally, please note that The Fitbit community in the Fitbit app is your home for fitness-related news, local events, connecting with friends, and discovering groups and you had to create a new user, for that reason you don't see the friends that you have added on the Fitbit app. For more information see What should I know about the Fitbit Community?
