Unable to set up Charge 2.

I bought a new Fitbit charge 2 and I won't pair with my iPhone 6. The Bluetooth connection is inconsistent. I tried to reset the tracker and my phone but still won't pair. Pls help.

I just bought a charge 2 and I've tried to sync it to my ipod touch 6th gen

 

It'll get as far as asking for the pairing code, then nothing

If your Charge 2 is not able to pair or finish the setup process with your phone I would like to suggest you the following:

  1. Restart your Charge 2, then leave it plugged in and charging.
  2. Restart your phone
  3. Update the Fitbit app if you haven't done it yet (we have just released a new version [2.41.1])
  4. Turn off the Bluetooth on your phone for 15 seconds, then turn it back on. 
  5. Make sure you have a strong WiFi signal
  6. Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around that might interfere with the setup process. 
  7. Try to set up your tracker again:
    • Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
    • Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
