Unable to set up Charge HR.

I am setting up a new charge hr, it says it's found the device but just says connecting to tracker

If your Charge HR is not setting up correctly, I would like to suggest you the following steps:

 

  1. Restart your Charge HR, then leave it plugged in and charging
  2. Restart your phone
  3. Make sure you have a strong Wi-Fi signal
  4. Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around that might interfere with the set up process. 

After that, try to set up the tracker again:

 

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  2. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue

I am facing the very same issue.

And the solution provided below does not help.

 

I have a tracker that doesn't work.
