Unable to set up Flex 2 on iPhone 8+

I just got my first Fitbit it’s a flex2. I charged it, downloaded the app but it just keeps searching. I turned off and on the Bluetooth cleared all other devices. It doesn’t show the Fitbit. I downloaded the new iOS 11.4.1. I deleted the Fitbit app and reloaded. Still nothing. What else can I do?

Try restarting your flex 2.

@Jfuryk, I appreciate you have brought this situation to my attention, if you have restarted your Flex 2 as @ACG mentioned and your phone is still unable to set it up, please try the following:

 

  1. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone; wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  2. Make sure you have a strong WiFi signal and that there are no other Bluetooth devices around that might interfere with the setup process.
  3. Restart Flex 2 again
  4. If you can't set up after a restart, reboot your phone or tablet and try to set up again.
  5. If you can't set up after the reboot, remove all other Fitbit devices from your account and from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your phone or tablet and try to set up the Flex 2 one more time.
