Hi, @VivienneC , try turning BT off on your phone, waiting a moment, and then turning it back on again.

It also might help to give your new Inspire a restart.  Each time you restart a Bluetooth reconnection should be prompted, so this may help.

It also can help if other Bluetooth devices are out of range, as sometimes the signals can interfere with each other.

Good luck.  Let us know how it goes and please post again if you continue to have problems.  Welcome to the forums!

My new Inspire will not set-up. I have:

restarted the iPhone. Turned Bluetooth on and off (mutilpe times). Restarted tne Inspire (twice) . Is just can’t seem to find it. I even disconnected my old One and it still can’t find the Inspire. Now what?

Hello @VivienneC and @TaraVT thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. It's nice to see you too @Julia_G, thanks for all your help. 🙂

@TaraVT and @VivienneC I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. I would also like to thank you for letting us know the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. At this moment, I would like to suggest you to go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and remove any Fitbit device showing up here. After that, please follow these steps in order:

  1. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone; wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  2. Make sure you have a strong WiFi signal and that there are no other Bluetooth devices around that might interfere with the setup process.
  3. Restart your Inspire once again:
    1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
    2. Hold the other end of the charging cable near the port on the back of the tracker until it attaches magnetically. The pins on the charging cable must connect securely with the port.
    3. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 5 seconds.
    4. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  4. If you can't set up after a restart, reboot your phone or tablet and try to set up again.

Give these steps a try and let us know the outcome!

I have tried multiple times to set up my new inspire hr to my IPhone XR with the same message stating something went wrong. I’ve read the forum & I see many others have had the same problem. I’ve tried the suggestions to rectify the problem but with no luck. What do I do now?!!!

I can not get my Fitbit to pair with my iPhone.  I restarted my Fitbit and made sure the Bluetooth setting was on.  The two just won’t pair

I had managed to pair it and then it disconnected and I’ve turned the Bluetooth  on and off a few times
