Unable to sync Alta HR with my new phone.

I have recently just gotten a new phone (iPhone 7). When I went to connect my Fitbit Alta HR to my iPhone through the Fitbit app it didn't work. Although it is still working on my old phone (iPhone 5S). I can sync my Fitbit through my old phone but my new phone won't sync it at all. I have looked up answers to similar questions and they haven't worked. I have tried turning my Bluetooth off and then on again, restarting my phone and the app. Nothing seems to work. Just wondering whether anybody knows what to do or whether this issue has happened with anybody else?

If your old phone is still around make sure it doesn't have a connection to the fitbit in its bluetooth settings as this could be blocking connection to your new phone
