I’m trying to sync my flex 2 with the app but it says that it cannot sync because my Bluetooth is not turned on, even though it is.
I have tried forgetting the device and adding it again, turned my Bluetooth off and on, even restarted my phone. I don’t want to re install the app in case I lose data and I don’t want to set up the device again for the same reason. What can I do?

Hi, @WillTheEskimo! Good news, none of your data are stored on your phone, so nothing you do will lose your data. The only risk you have there is by removing your tracker from your account. You would lose any previous days' data that had not synced yet. So, given that, I would try uninstalling/reinstalling the app and also clearing your app's cache and data.

Hello @WillTheEskimo, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to see new faces around! I appreciate your insight @MakMak, it's always nice to see you around.
@WillTheEskimo, I appreciate you have brought this to my attention and for letting me know the troubleshooting steps you have tried so far. At this moment if the app is telling you to turn on the Bluetooth on your phone, even when it's already on, please try the following:
- Swipe up in the Fitbit app to reveal the Control Center
- Turn off Bluetooth from here, wait 15 seconds then turn it back on.
- Go back to the Dashboard in the Fitbit app and swipe down several times until the tracker starts to sync.
If this doesn't seem to work, force-quit the app by double tapping the home button and swipe up the app. Then, try again. Please note that as @MakMak mentioned the data does not get stored in your phone but it gets synced to our servers.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.
