Hello @Sujithp, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate you have brought this to my attention. Have you restarted your Fitbit device and your phone recently? If so, I would like to suggest you to check the following:

  • Make sure the latest version of the Fitbit app is installed on your phone.
  • The software on your mobile device is up to date. To check, tap Settings > General > Software Update.
  • Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around as they might interfere with the syncing process
  • Check that your Fitbit device's battery isn't critically low.

If your device still won't sync, try these steps:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and back on.
  3. Open the Fitbit app.
  4. If your Fitbit device didn't sync, restart your phone again.
  5. Open the Fitbit app.
  6. If your Fitbit device didn't sync, restart it one more time.
  7. If your Fitbit device won't sync after the restart, log in to your Fitbit account on a different phone, tablet, or computer and try to sync.
  8. If your Fitbit device still doesn’t sync, remove all other Fitbit devices from your account and from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your mobile device and try to sync.

On the other hand, if you have removed the device from your account because it was not syncing and it's not able to be set up again, please try the following:

  1. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone; wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  2. Make sure you have a strong WiFi signal and that there are no other Bluetooth devices around that might interfere with the setup process.
  3. Restart your Fitbit device again.
  4. If you can't set up after a restart, reboot your phone or tablet and try to set up again.
  5. If you can't set up after the reboot, remove all other Fitbit devices from your account and from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your phone or tablet and try to set up the device one more time.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

I have tried all of these things, and can't get my fitbit to sync back up with my phone. It was working fine until I updated to iOS 11.4, I am using a fitbit ionic. The ionic currently is stuck on a black screen with a diamond of blue dots - it isn't the set up screen as there is no 'welcome' message underneath. It goes dark after a few seconds but then comes back on with the blue dots, and constantly repeats this.

I have even tried deleting and reinstalling the app on my iPhone, and have tried restarting the watch and phone multiple times. Occasionally when I try to connect, my phone will say that it has found a tracker, but will not go further than that (asking for a code on phone/watch). Most times though it stays on the searching for a device page.

I've been without my fitbit tracking and watch for a week now, please help!

I have completed the above steps and my iphone is still not finding my fitbit when searching for it.

What is the next step?

Same here. iPhone 6 is updated, Fitbit App is updated. I uninstalled my charge 2 and tried to setup my new charge 3 and now neither will setup! Nothing is working. I've restarted phone, restarted the app, turned off the bluetooth for over 10 seconds and restarted. No other fitbit is near my phone. I wanted to setup via computer, but then the charge 3 wont' set up that way! I'm at a complete loss! Meanwhile, my 2 daughters set theirs up without any issues on their android phones.
