I can only get data through the iPad app if I have synced my charge HR through my laptop first. Could someone explain how I simply sync to my iPad app directly?

Maybe the following are the reasons why you can't sync using your iPad:
1. The Fitbit app version in your iPad is not updated. To see if there's an available update, you can follow these steps:
- Tap the App Store app.
- Tap the Updates tab. If the Fitbit app has an update, you’ll see it in the Available Updates list.
- Tap Update.
2. If you will sync your tracker using your iPAD, make sure that there is no active Bluetooth connection nearby.
