Update 6/26/2018: Hi Everyone, I've merged a few threads together. Thanks for your iOS notification reports.

Based on customer feedback, we stopped showing notifications in the Notification Center. You can continue to receive these notifications as push notifications by turning on Push Notifications in the app under Account > Notifications. Additionally, ensure that Notifications is selected in your iPhone settings.

I just got an Ionic after having a Blaze. I noticed that last 2 mornings after hitting my step goal of 10,000 it doesn’t show up in the Fitbit App under notifications on Dashboard screen. It did show up as a banner on top portion of my iPhone 6 but when i checked in notifications there was nothing. I turned banner portion off under my iPhone Fitbit settings - could that have been the problem? But shouldn’t it still notify me on Dashboard. Sending a pic to show exactly what I am referencing

If your ref feeding to the comunitycosection of the app .these notifications normally are not sent to the Blaze .They also have nothing to do with the blaze.

They might not even be in the community section but are in the notification section. Screenshot_20180624-122258_Fitbit.jpg

why did I stop getting notifications re hitting goals?

Best Answer

Those sound like, as you say comunity notifications .This is the only type of notification the app keeps track of. and they are not sent to the tracker .

Look at the bottom of the app, one of the icons will have a number 64. in the screenshot above I have 6 waiting.

Sorry I do not understand @Notdebie you post a screen shot of the notifications you have received but then say you have not received them.

Where is it that you want to receive these notifications?

For me the only way I can get them is by going to the page that you have posted. Do they not show up in the notification center?

Do you get text and phone notifications?

You say that nothing is registering, but I'm not sure where this is.

Is it that the Blaze is not counting steps, or the Blaze has not synced in 9 days.

When does the app say the last sync was? Tap on the picture of your tracker, you will see this on the next page .

This thread is clearly in the Blaze hardware support board. Not the iOS board and the title is about notifications on the Blaze.

With the thread seeming to be about one of the 4 different Fitbit apps I was looking for clarification.

So are you receiving them are not .

These should be showing up in the notification center.

Have not recieved any notifications as of June,15 2018!... did you take note of the latest notification on the screen shot ?

Sorry I did not. without it highlighted and the thread being about the Blaze. not the app. Not being sure of the purpose of the screen shot, or where thevnotifications was expected to be seen. I assume on the Blaze which is clearly in the title. i was still trying to figure out what was not happening. And if the problem was the Blaze, phone, or app.

In this case, have you checked your notification settings

The notifications on my IPhone App stopped coming through. Got them every day until 06/17/18 .. I have reset app, turned phone off, turn bluetooth on and off.  Is it because I need to delete past notifications? The notifications I was receiving was for steps.  And how do I delete them?

Hi there @Rainbow_2018. Great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry you're having problems with the notifications not coming through on your iPhone and thanks a lot for what you've tried to get it to work! I'd like to give you a hand here.

Now, I'd just like to make sure... is it call, text and calendar notifications also that you're having problems with or is it just with the Fitbit app notifications? In general, I'd recommend syncing your tracker, then, on your iPhone, go to your settings, then go to the Bluetooth settings. On your connected devices, look for your tracker. Tap on it, then choose the option that says "Forget this device".

Then, proceed to set up your tracker as a new device. For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem and you should be getting your notifications without a problem.

Hope this helps and please, let me know if you need anything else!
