I started the update this morning for my Ionic.
It has been stuck showing the teal bar across screen as though it’s updating for several hours now (in the same spot on screen).
Turned my iPhone off. Still won’t reconnect to the Ionic. Unable to turn the Ionic off. Help!

Hard reset did finally work. Wasn't holding the buttons down long enough. After resetting, the Ionic reconnected to the iOS app. All is good.

1) press and hold the single, larger “menu” button on the left side of the watch,
2) while pressing down on the “menu” button, press and hold the lower button on the right side of the watch.
3) hold these two buttons down for 4 seconds (or until the screen blacks out).
4) release the two buttons after the screen blacks out
5) you will then see the Fitbit blue logo come up on the screen.
