Hi there @sbalsari @NellyG, good to see you both around! 🙂

I think I can help you with this.

I do this all the time to save some data when I don't want to use my data plan for certain apps but only when I have access to wifi.

What you want to do is to go into your phone settings, then go to Cellular and here, scroll down to the Fitbit app. Make sure you enable your mobile data to be used by Fitbit by toggling the switch to green and after that, you should be able to sync and use the Fitbit app when you don't have wifi.

Let me know how it goes!

PS. I'm moving your post to the iOS App board for categorization purposes.

You dont do anything to set your Alta HR up on data - that onky syncs via bluetooth and cant access the internet. But to can use mobile data to connect your phone to the internet when there is no wifi available, and then sync your tracker as normal. Just go to you settings on your phone and turn data on and the app will allow you to sync your tracker.

Dear NellyG,
No luck.
When there is no wifi , mobile automatically goes to mobile data , I can surf on mobile data but Fitbit App says no internet in red strip . Additionally I also turned off wifi in mobile setup . But no sync . In the Account setting in App all day sync is turned on. Normally syncing starts upon pulling dashboard screen down but without wifi there is no sync .

That sounds really strange to me. I have a samsung and I often sync on mobile data. I did with my old phone too (an older model samsung). What phone are you using?

Hello NellyG,
I have iPhone 6 and AltaHR just does not sync even when Safari/Google Chrome so easily function on mobile data .Since I have data on my Fitbit, my programme data is always available for sync as and when I get wifi . I have reconciled with it though I think it is a matter of correct setting . I may not go for a reset since my cardio data are valuable .

I wonder if it is an iOS thing? You could ask Support (link in my signature) and they might know if you can fix it.

No worries @sbalsari @NellyG, that's something that even I forget sometimes when other apps are not working and then I realize that I need to allow the my data plan to be used by those apps haha this is a common thing to happen, don't worry!
