Versa 2 Alexa controller Id

When I try to use Alexa on my new Versa 2, it say thinking and then “What is your controller id?”. This is true for any command to Alexa.

 

How do I get Alexa working on the versa 2? I am using iPhone X with ios13

@Jay8993   I suggest you disconnect your Alexa and set it back up again.  If you get the same result, then your should contact Support .  You might have a bad Versa 2.  The term "controller id" is a term that I have seen used when two devices "talk" to each other.  In the world of hardware/software, Alexa is software installed on your Versa 2 (hardware).  

 

iOS 13 has been causing problems with notifications.  No report of Alexa problems.
