App wont let me change from walk to cycle and doesn't show route map, wont let me use functions at top back or bin etc

Hello @Chumlee and welcome to the Community.  I'm sorry if I'm misreading what you wrote.  If you want to track a bike ride and get a map, you need to use the Exercise app on the Versa 2 using GPS.  Your descriptions sounds like it's from an auto-recognized activity.  GPS isn't available for auto-recognized activities.
