Versa 2 issues

I’m calling bull**ahem** on all the help ideas. I cannot get my watch to pair with my iPhone. Even when I had it, I still was no longer receiving notifications or messages. Sure, it would vibrate with a phone call, but that’s all I could get since last update. Was a satisfied consumer till this issue. A disclaimer at the top of your page is embarrassing since it’s been up for over a month. Yes, I’ve tried every possible combination suggested here. I’ve spent countless hours the last few days restarting the watch, restarting the phone, turn Bluetooth off then on again. At this point I’m ready to buy an Apple Watch..signed: frustrated

Hello and welcome @Ebowns

I understand your frustration with the current notifications issue. I can only offer you this thread here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Stopped-seeing-notifications-after-updating-to-iOS-13/td-p/3... This is truly the only information I know about this situation. Please pay special attention to page 1 of that thread and follow the steps provided carefully.
I can try and assist you with your pairing issue. Can you please verify that your iPhone is compatible with the Fitbit App? You can view the compatibility list here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2315

I did note all the troubleshooting steps you tried to resolve the issue yourself. These are all great troubleshooting steps. I did noticed that you didn’t mention restarting your Versa 2. I would suggest trying that. You can find the proper restarting procedure here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186 If restarting fails to pair your Versa 2 please try turning it off then back on again.

Here’s how:

On your watch, open the Settings app> About > Shutdown > confirm the shutdown.

To turn your watch back on, press the back button.

😃 Hopefully restarting your Versa 2 resolves the pairing issue. Keep me posted

Here’s my issue now; I’ve done all these steps to no avail. I did a factory reset, uninstall the fit bit app, restarted both the phone and watch multiple times. Now, all I have is the start up screen on my watch. Reinstalled the app, still not pairing. Turn off the Bluetooth, restart everything and still nothing.

Hello again @Ebowns

Lets try this:

open your Fitbit App

tap your profile picture on the upper left of your screen

scroll down and tap Set Up a Device

Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue

😃 Keep me posted on how things go

Your missing the fundamental issue, I cannot pair the watch to my phone. Therefore, I cannot set it up since all it does is try to connect the Bluetooth. My Bluetooth app just keeps spinning but no connection. I know the Bluetooth is functioning since it still connects to my vehicle and is running the Bose speaker in our house at the moment.

Hello again @Ebowns

So when you went through the Set Up A Device it still didn’t connect? Can you please tell me what model iPhone you have as well as your current iOS version?

Hello again @Ebowns

Your iPhone is indeed compatible which is great news. I understand your Bluetooth is not connecting but did you still try the Set Up A Device steps in my previous post?
