Versa 2 not syncing with multiple iOS devices

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Suddenly today, my Versa 2 cannot find or synch on several of my devices, including an iPad Air and iPhone SE. But it can find and synch on my iPad Pro.

I have reinstalled Versa App on these devices, switched Bluetooth on and off, reset device networks and restarted them.

However the Versa App can no longer find my home networks on these devices, even when I enter network name and password manually.

All is normal on my Ipad Pro.

What is going on here, please?

Hi @Jon_B, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your iOS mobile devices that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.

Then, you can move forward and try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

Let me know if further assistance is needed and if you have any additional questions.

Ricardo Hi

Many thanks for this.

Synching does seem to be a perennial Fitbit issue. I have a very fast (200 mbps) fibre Internet and stable mesh home WiFi network, and none of my other 20 or so network devices ever have ever exhibited problems like this. Eventually, all Versa synching with any external device failed – not surprising, really.

I got it all to work eventually, cos I’m kind of geeky as well as stubborn. But it took multiple restarts of multiple devices, power offs, updating and a factory reset of the Versa, and myriads of Bluetooth switching, App reinstalls and network logins; this all consumed about 3 frustrating hours of my time overall.

Ouch!

Kind regards

Jon
