Versa Lite cannot connect to iPhone 8

My Fitbit Versa lite cannot connect to my iPhone 8 even though I have restarted the device more than several times and turned on and off my phone many times and every time I restart my Fitbit device, my phone finds it but then the connection times out. Any ideas? I’ve done all the steps it tells me to do and still nothing

Thanks for letting me know that your Versa Lite isn't syncing correctly, as well for the steps tried prior posting. Nice way to start. I understand how important it's to keep your data updated and let's work on this together. First of all, could you please verify if the Fitbit app has been updated to the latest version? If so, I'd suggest to try to the following steps. Some of them were already tried, however we'll give them one more try in a specific order to reconnect your watch.

  1. Remove your Versa Lite from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Turn off the Bluetooth of your phone and any other Bluetooth connection that you have nearby.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and tap on your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
  5. Choose your Versa Lite, tap on replace and follow the onscreen instructions.
  6. When prompted, accept the request to pair via Bluetooth.
