Versa Lite not updating or syncing

My Fitbit versa lite is not getting updated after iOS 13 update ... tried everything nothing is working .... don’t know how this will resolve

This is my problem as well. I attempted firmware update. Now will no longer sync and still says I need the update but will not pair or sync so will not update. I have attempted all your suggestions in this thread. Please assist. Thank you

Eventually mine just came up with apps I had not loaded and basically died. It was still in warranty but was replaced with a different model which the paperwork said refurbished. I don’t think that was good enough as it was their update that caused my watch to die. My daughters Fitbit (different model) has also died. How many more? Great advert for other brands.

My Fitbit Versa Lite stopped working after upgrade to iOS 14. I did factory reset, evetually get it working, updated to latest firmware 38.71.6.19, but now they do not connect anymore, not even to my windows laptop no matter what I do. Tried all steps in all these topics, it just does not work anymore. Looks like the BT died inside of the watch.

This is the 2nd time my wifes versa lite has done this. will not sync, data not read with a big red x on the screen. I have tried everything hard reset, turn bluetooth off and on, start with a new setup and nothing is working! The fitbit is showing February 6th @ 10:30 am. Last time I looked it was february 7th @ 9:00 am. I have all ready had this replaced once, this is a bunch of B.S.

I’m having the same exact problem. With all the inputs here it seems this is a systemic issue with this product. I’ve followed all the directions given here and even received a replacement as mine was still under warranty. Nothing has worked and now tech support has apparently written me off

i am desperately reaching out to you hoping you can help.   I have a versa lite and have just deleted the app, turned off the iPad, waited, restarted iPad, loaded the app, was asked to allow Bluetooth to pair, allowed it, asked to allow notifications, allowed it, went to set up device chose versa lite, have restarted the lite but it cant put it on the app!!!!!!!!

 

I am at a loss as what to do.   I was able to do the watch update over the weekend and sync, but that didn’t even last 10hrs before the syncing dropped in and out and finally lost the watch completely and then time started to lose time and I did the “forget this device” and tried to start again, but I am coming up empty!!!!    All Fitbit wants to do is tell me it’s out of warranty and offer 30ish % off, but I keep telling them that this watch had no problems prior to an update they did on me about June/July of last yr.  maybe later, not 100%sure, was told last night that 1) we don’t always make a high quality product (I asked if that was really what he wanted to say when he was being recorded) and 2) my Bluetooth has “just stopped working”.   THAT I KNOW is a load of crxx....... 

 

might you have any ideas for me I am desperate, but not desperate enough to invest in Fitbit again w/ another purchase.     Thanks in advance—

Try using an actual computer! I tried everything I could find online to try and finally after about 6 months I decided to head to my grandmas and try on her actual computer. It worked!!! My Fitbit has been back up and going fully.

I had similar problems after an update but it was still in warranty so it was replaced. They seem to be ignoring the fact that it is their update causing the problem. I will have a good look at other brands before getting another Fitbit because of this.

Glad to hear they took care of you!,  Mine was purchased in 2019, out of warranty.  I’ve had it going for two days, now overnight it loses the connection.......I have to start ALL OVER!   This isn’t how these are supposed to work........

Clean the golden 3 dots on your fit bit with a eraser :pencil: and the charging port gently

Remove the app from your phone and reinstall. Reboot your versa watch.

A year ago I purchased fitbit versa lite edition and now from many months it just shows black screen even after charging it for hours. Now, I finally fixed that issue but now its not syncing or updating. From many days I'm trying to sync through the fitbit app but my Android is unable to connect with the Bluetooth so it's not syncing and the problem is in the watch not in my Android bcoz I tried to connect with many other devices but Bluetooth wasn't visible to any device please fix this issue. Its my request please fix this issue. Thank you hope you will go further for any solution

Hi, I have a similar issue with my fitbit versa, I'm thinking by now it's just obsolete and I need to upgrade, and I was given a discount code so I could, but unfortunately I cannot afford a new one even with the code, so I'm not sure what to do. My versa lite won't go past the download app to continue, and it won't sync or connect with Bluetooth, my phone keeps telling me it needs an app to connect to the watch, but I'm USING the app.can you help me? Or see if there's a bigger discount I could get? I got a 35% discount code. Only lasts 30 days, and I won't be able to save up enough in 30 days

Mine isn't in the warranty. Yours had to of been, that's the only reason
they did that. I called today and they refused to do it unless I had a
warrenty.
