Versa Lite won’t sync to my iPhone

My Versa Lite is not even that old and will no longer sync to my iPhone. I followed every step given by the Fitbit support and even factory reset my Versa Lite now it won’t even go to the main screen, says that I need to download the Fitbit app which I have already done and reinstalled numerous times. Now I have a Fitbit that really won’t work and it won’t let me add it to the app. I’m guessing now I need to purchase a new one which I hate to have to do.
