Hi, My Versa intermittently connects to GPS ( get message "connecting"). I contacted Fitbit support and they advised while on-line doing a reset, ie holding the left button with the bottom right one, resetting my mobile, by switching off /on. He couldn't help any further with the phone as it was an I-Phone 6 as to what settings should be enabled.
The Versa did connect to GPS but I'm not convinced the issue is resolved. Can any one please advise what settings I should check on both the I-Phone and Versa and anything else which users have found have resolved the issue

Hello @agh55 I hope you're doing well, it's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community.
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. I would like to thank you for letting us know you've already contacted our Support Team and tried some troubleshooting steps.
At this moment, I would like to ask you that when you start a GPS activity from your Versa, have the Fitbit app open before, once the Versa connects, leave the app during the exercise to prevent the Versa to drop connection with your phone. Additionally, go to the phone Settings > Fitbit and make sure "Bluetooth Sharing" is enabled and that under Location, "Always" have been selected. Note that tall buildings and trees might affect the GPS signal.
I'm sure these steps will be helpful, give it a try and let us know the outcome.

Hi, apologies for the delay in responding, went on holiday and forgot the watch. Yes what you have suggested works, and it now connects to GPS. One thing to note and may be useful to other Versa owners, my watch took approx. 2 minutes to connect.
Thanks for all your help, it was greatly appreciated.
