Versa isn't syncing with new iPad 6

I just replaced my iPad Air with an iPad 6. With the iPad Air the sync was blindingly fast. As soon as I opened the app on the iPad Air it showed the step count and in a moment it showed the sleep activity.

With the new iPad 6 the sync is slow. The step count doesn't show for 30 seconds or so and then the progress bar begins to CREEP across the screen. When it is complete the sleep activity shows duration but not stages.

Hi @fastoy. It's good that the community is growing!

Thanks for the information provided, and I'm sorry that you've had this experience. Before anything else, let me share that your iPad 6 isn't yet fully supported device which may affect some features, such as syncing. While we cannot guarantee that it'll always work, let's try some steps together. If you still have your previous iPad Air, I'd recommend to remove the Versa from the Bluetooth settings.

Once that is done, try the following on your iPad 6:

  1. Make sure the Fitbit app is updated.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your iPad.
  3. Open the Fitbit app, tap the Profile icon > Versa's image > Notifications.
  4. When prompted, proceed to pair via Bluetooth.

Regarding to your other inquiry, let me share that the sleep stages information depends entirely on how your Versa records your sleep and heart rate details, and not on the Fitbit app. That being said, please verify the possible factors that might be causing this. If those factors don't apply to you, verify that the heart rate settings are turned on in your Versa's settings, and make sure you're wearing your device as described in this help article.

Keep me posted.
