Versa just turned off within a year

Seems very clear that fitbits are disposable, less than a year ago, my versa just stopped working, I reported the issue, since it was under warranty, they sent me a replacement, last week, the same thing happened, but even though it happened to the replacement they sent me, I am being told there is nothing they can do, other than offer me a discount… if you are in the market for a smart watch, just know that Fitbits have a very poor shell life and they tend to die on you right after the year…

Hi @ConnyVC2809  you read the warranty information? click to see it. Your warranty is for one year (USA) and that starts from the sale of your first device, not the replacement. They can't give a whole new warranty on the replacement.

Yes, I read the Warranty, but shouldn’t the new device also have a one year
warranty or is the warranty voided if the new device was a replacement for
a failed one?
If I buy a FitBit at the store because my other one failed, doesn’t that
new Fitbit also have a one year warranty on it?

If you read it, you're seeing the rules by which customer support responded to you @ConnyVC2809 . Your buying a brand new Fitbit gives you a brand new full year warranty. Your receiving a free replacement entitles you to the remainder of the original warranty period. If each time something happened to a device and you managed to get a replacement, you could go years without paying for a new device. Using the offered discount for a new Fitbit, it will come with a full year warranty.

My current one is the last I will ever buy from this company. The original models lasted forever but the newer ones give out quickly. I am tired of having to trouble shoot all the time. I am over it.

Hi @MoMoGoGo  the original devices were good, but they also didn't do as much as the newer smartwatches. The first one I had was the Flex. It blinked at me, so I didn't know the number of steps unless I checked the app. Things change over time.
