Total steps for the day are counting but when I Sync my Fitbit the weekly total steps does not change it started about 7pm pacific time. But it shows dashboard it shows when it was last synced.  I have turned my phone off and reset my Fitbithr2 and synced it and 7 day total steps still stuck on the same 7 day total steps back at 7pm. When clearly I have been walking.

I just checked mine as well & last time it sync was mid day thursday. I know I did more steps than 3700 or so it posted. Today showed 0. My battery is 1/2 charged. Hope tech support figures this out. There was just an update to fix bugs & sync issues on the 3rd. Think they broke it verse fixed it

I’m having the same problem. My charge hr is counting my steps during my walks, but they are not staying synced to the app.  Also, data is not syncing to other apps that are fed by Fitbit.

Annoying. GET ON THIS, FITBIT!

Hello @JoyPur and @Kimmie86, I hope you're having a great day, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. It's nice to see you around too @LorriedSmiley Happy

Thanks for letting us know about this issue. We experienced some issues on February 14th and 15th where the total steps and steps from Challenges and Leaderboards were not updating correctly. Our engineers are aware of the problem and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible. This might also be the reason why data was not updating correctly with 3rd party apps linked to the Fitbit app.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience this situation has caused. I appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track. Additionally, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply, I'll be happy to help.

My leader board styles are sticking at 75000 steps but that’s what I had two or three days ago. My friends are taunting me and I’m falling behind. I should have 22000 or so. How do o fix? I’ve rebooted the Fitbit and turned my phone on and off to no avail. Boooo. Fix please

Hi there @Beccamb, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I'm sorry to hear that your step total on your challenge isn't updating. Below are possible reasons for this issue:

1. Your steps have fully synced to our database but you're not viewing the mobile app dashboard in Live Data Mode. (Live data mode would show the word "connected" under your tracker tile).
2. You manually logged an activity. Steps from manually logged activities do not count toward challenges; only steps recorded by your tracker or MobileTrack are counted toward challenges.
3. You used MobileRun to track GPS data with your app. Only steps recorded by a tracker or MobileTrack are counted toward challenges.
4. All challenge participants are not in the same time zone.

Please note that it's also recommended  to wait 15 minutes after syncing your Fitbit data to see if your challenge updates.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

Hi!
I haven’t added anything manually and my friends are all in the same time zone.
I don’t use any third party tracking. I had another 10k steps today and it still said 76k steps.

Any other suggestions?
Thanks!

Hello @Beccamb, I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply.

I appreciate you have checked the points described in my previous post. We've received similar reports about challenge steps not matching the dashboard steps, and have escalated the issue to our engineering team. While we don't have a timeline for resolution, we will continue to investigate these discrepancies.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, in the meantime, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

Is this only occurs with Altas or is it an across the board issue with all trackers?
Thanks!

Hello @Beccamb, I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply. Smiley Happy

At this moment, it seems the issue is more linked to the app and not to the tracker. Please keep in mind that our team is aware of this issue and is working towards a prompt and proper resolution.

Hello @Beauty29, thanks for joining the conversation, it's great to have you on board the Fitbit Community. Smiley Happy

Thank you for letting me know that you're experiencing delays in updating your son's data, specifically the weekly step total. Our team is aware of this situation and is working on the issue.

At this moment I would like to ask you to sync your tracker as you normally do and please check back later today or tomorrow for the updates to your data. Our team hopes to have this resolved soon, if there's anything else I can do for you in the meantime, please feel free to reply.
