Weight loss is not showing correctly in the app.

My starting weight is correct on the normal website on my dashboard, stating 17st 7lb on 03.08.16.  Also my goal weight is correct.

I now weight 15st 5 lbs however my mobile app is only showing weight lost since 15.03.17 which is 4 lbs - why is it not showing the total amount lost since 03.08.16?

Hello @JaneyS, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board! Smiley Happy

This seems like a very odd situation and I would like to suggest going to your online Dashboard and check if the Weight loss is correct there. It's possible the information is not updating correctly in the Fitbit app, which is why my recommendation would be:

  • Force-closing the app by double tapping the home button and swiping up the app
  • Log out from the app, restart your phone and log back in.

In case the Weight loss is correct on the online Dashboard but not on the Fitbit app, please reply to me with screenshots of the discrepancy so I can check this further.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink

This is happening with me too.  I've lost 3.4 pounds and it's only registering 1.6

I’m having the same issue. I’ve lost over 7lbs since 1/29, and it is only showing a 0.2lb loss as of 2/8.

I’m having the same problem. Aria weight updates correctly on Windows dashboard, shows correctly on app details, but does not update on app dashboard. Have reloaded app, tried other posted fixes.

I appreciate you have brought this to my attention. At this moment I would like to ask you to update the Fitbit app to its latest app that was just recently released. If you're still experiencing the same issue, please take screenshots with more details about it and reply to me with them. This will be very helpful for me to check this further.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

I’m having the same problem. Showing correct on the website dashboard but not on my phone. I’ve done a restart on my phone. No change.

I have screenshots but I’m not sure how to share them.

I was having the same problem and tried the suggested fixes.
kept experimenting and found the answer. Go to "todays page" on your Fitbit, click on the face on the top left hand corner. Scroll down to " Activity and Wellness". Click on arrow next to this heading and you will find "Nutrition and weight". Click on the arrow for that heading and it will open up a page that stated your "Starting weight". Fill that correctly and the weight loss on your Today page will be correct.
