I did a search and found that this issue was supposed to be fixed in 2018, but whenever I log a food. It always shows up twice in what I have eaten, so my calorie intake is double what I ate.... just got my Inspire 2 days ago....man this thing is very buggy!!!!

Hello @KLW2, welcome to the community forums!

I'm very sorry for the experience you've had. Can you confirm if it has happened when logging Food through the web Dashboard as well? In the meantime, I suggest you to please log out and back into the App on your mobile device. Then please restart your mobile device and Force quit restart the Fitbit App.

For instructions about how to Force quit restart the App, please consider the following:

1. To close the app, open the App Switcher and swipe the screenshot of the app upwards to close it.

2. This forces the app to quit; wait a few seconds.

3. Open it again.

Note that instructions may vary depending on the mobile device you have. Lastly, confirm if the inconvenience started after an update for the Fitbit App?

I look forward to your reply.

This has been happening to me the last couple days as well. Actually, it’s been adding food I didn’t even select. It’s adding selections from my suggested additions. And yes it has happened SINCE the latest update. I will also try this solution.

I logged out of the App, forced it closed and restarted my IPhone 11. It is still logging the food twice...there is a lag of a few minutes after the food shows up the first time and it showing up a second time.

This happens to be every few -6 months and forced-closing it has never corrected the problem.  I have to manually delete the invented or duplicate items.

This happened to me “last night”/ this morning, when I “woke up” to having 1400+ calories added by FitBit to my log for today with NO input by me!?!
