Hi all... been using my blaze for a while with no issues, after my runs the gps tracked map would appear with the distance on my dashboard. Recently updated the firmware on the blaze and on my iPhone 6, now they don't appear!
Everything worked fine before the updates - is this the issue?? Or do I have to reactivate something?
the option on the blaze 'use phone gps' is active and all seems to be working but no maps appear anywhere after my run. If I go back to before the updates, maps are still there! Am I missing something??
please help!! I like to view this and I also think this gave me a more accurate distance of the run as well.

Hello @Carlsim, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community!
In this particular situation I would like to suggest going on your phone to Settings > Fitbit > Location and make sure Location is set to While Using the App or Always.
Additionally, please logout from the app, restart your phone and log back in. Please note that the Fitbit app must be open while you're exercising so the connected GPS on the Blaze can trace your map route.
I hope this information can be useful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else!
Hi
I know this original post was some time ago but I have recently started having issues with the maps disappearing.
I have my GPS on and go for my run/walk, when I get home my map is there, it shows me the distance where I have gone etc. However when I next look at my exercise log the map has disappeared and it does not show me the distance.
This is particularly frustrating as I am training for a half marathon so need to keep track of my runs to make sure I am making progress.
I have read lots of other comments and I have tried logging out and back in, that has not worked.
Any other suggestions??

Hello @Lilly_CM, thanks for joining the conversation, it's a pleasure to me to welcome you to the Fitbit Community.
Please keep in mind that all GPS devices, whether your phone or your tracker connected to your phone, require a direct path to these satellites in order to receive their radio transmissions. If the signal is being blocked—either because you're underground, near many tall buildings, or as a result of atmospheric effects—GPS will not work. In this case I would like to suggest you to check the following:
After checking these requirements, please try to perform a GPS exercise once again. If you're still having difficulties, please let me know if you're seeing the alert in the app or in your tracker and reply to me with either a picture of your tracker displaying the message or a screenshot of the app displaying the message.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply as well.

Hello @Lilly_CM, I hope you're having a great day, thanks for taking the time to reply. ![]()
In this particular case I would like to suggest you to go to the activities section of your online Dashboard and check that your exercises and maps are showing there. If that's the case, it's possible the app is not updating the information correctly with the one stored in our servers, which I'd like to recommend the following:
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let me know the outcome.
Best AnswerI'm having similar problems since the update. I have maps showing up for runs that are the wrong maps. I have no mile splits for my times. This is a huge mess, and I'm also in training and not happy about this.
This has nothing to do with tracking during my actual runs. Those are being tracked just fine, the maps show up as was mentioned earlier. This is only an issue when I later go back to look at my historical data, which was correct immediately following my runs, and incorrect or missing information after. Clearly the app needs a fix.

Hey everyone -- Can you share a screenshot of what you're seeing? That'll be super helpful to share with our iOS team to further investigate this. Thanks in advance.

The first two pictures are from the same run, the first picture shows up in the list format, but when I click through the correct map of the run appears.
The last photo is a past run that now has no times listed.

Ok I think the screenshots are attached now!!!
The first picture was taken as soon as I finished my walk, the second picture was about 5 minutes later, the map has disappeared. I can no longer see the distance, pace etc.
As you can see my GPS is working fine.
Best AnswerI'm having the same problems. I went on a run this morning and I saw the map eventually (It's always very slow to do this) and then when I went back to see it again later on the map had gone. I've not had a map on my activity log since the 2nd September. When I logged into the online fitbit.com to look at my activity list it says "distance" the N/A under all my activities but not on the ones before 2nd September. I think something isn't working on the app as I have done all the restarts and checks suggested in this thread. Blue tooth/app/GPS/location is on and it is all syncing properly.
Defiantly seems to be a problem at fitbit' s end.
Thanks
This is definitely an issue that has started since the last update. My previous maps have gone missing as well now. Which also means it's not syncing with Strava what is going on fitbit??????

Hello @Poostix2003, I hope you're doing well, thanks for joining the conversation. ![]()
I appreciate you have taken the time to report this issue. At this moment I would like to ask you to go to the Activities section on your online Dashboard and check if your maps are showing here. If they are, that means the app is not updating the information correctly from our servers, in which case I would like to suggest you the following:
Now, about Strava, if the information is not syncing correctly, please follow @RobertoME's instructions about how to reset the connection between Strava and Fitbit.
I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.
Best AnswerI've done all that. As per the 20 or so posts from all the previous posters that have this issue that I read before posting.
Best AnswerYep, it's all updated since the last update, got a bigger problem now with the ionic not turning on and not holding charge.
