I found All-Day Sync option within the fitbit app tracker settings but I'm looking for the "Always Connected" option. Where is the "Always Connected" option?

Welcome on board @LordBladzz, it's nice to see you here! Smiley Very Happy Do you have an iOS device? If so, that's the reason why cannot see this option. It's available on Android phones only.

Depending the Android phone, these tips might make syncing easier:

  • Turn on the Always Connected option in the Fitbit app. This setting improves the Bluetooth connection between your phone and Fitbit device. Note that turning on this feature may cause the battery on your Fitbit device to drain more quickly than normal.
  • Turn on All-Day Sync in the Fitbit app. This setting prompts your Fitbit device to periodically sync with the Fitbit app but may shorten battery life on your phone or Fitbit device.

In regards to the post you shared, since your device is paired to the Fitbit app, it syncs every time you open the app. If you turn on All-Day sync it also syncs periodically throughout the day. If you sync your device with a computer and Fitbit Connect, it syncs automatically every 15 to 30 minutes when the Fitbit device and computer are nearby, and the dongle is plugged in, if applicable.

To manually sync your device, with your device nearby, open the Fitbit app and find the picture of your device on the Fitbit app dashboard.

I've moved your post to the iOS App as there are more chances to get related replies here.

Thanks for you help @JohnnyRow!

From phone dashboard, click "Account" icon near top right, then click 'Charge 2". Then scroll down.  "Always Connected" setting is at the very bottom on mine.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thank you,

At the bottom I have All-Day Sync but no Always Connected option.

I found this link for the Flex 2, maybe it applies for the Charge 2?

"I have turned all day sync off, but my Flex 2 is always connected to my iPhone 6 via bluetooth. I've tried turning all day sync on and off again and also reset my Flex 2, but it is still always connected. Other posts mention that Android users have the ability to turn off "always connected" but for iPhone it is controlled by all day sync. Anyone have a fix for this?"

Hello @T3g4n and welcome to the Help forums.  You added to a thread in the iOS app forum and you are an Android user.  In some respects, the apps are very different.  I could move your post to the Android forum, but it doesn't describe your problem well enough to stand alone in the Android forum.

Please post a more detailed question in the Android forum.

I have an android and yet I can't seem to get the apps to stay linked I have to sync manually everytime I open the app. Help, it's driving me nuts. I want to be able to open the app and automatically see my updated and current info without syncing manually.

Did they remove this option? I have an Android and I have to manually sync constantly. It didn't tell me my Fitbit died a couple days ago. Else I would've charged it
