Why did the ios app auto update ?

I did not update the app on the phone , why did it auto update to 2.92 without any prompts to accept the upgrades ?

In brief the earlier Dashboard was much better ,, The fonts and tiled look was user friendly .Why can’t the layout look  be optional.?

Provide some useful options , like text interpretation of the graphs.

It would be great to see the data in text below the graphs .

In my case the android app automatically updated. WITHOUT my permission.

I purposely didn't update the app due the new microphone permission on the android system. Yesterday I loaded the app and it had a new layout. Check the version number is newer also.

To Fitbit:

A) Why did it update and where can I get the older ap.k?

B) Can I decompress the ap.k, and look for code regarding illegal control of my phone by the app? Maybe send it to Google and have the version banned from the app store.

C) Is there a section in the legal agreement that states you can do this?

Fully agree. Why remove all the at-your-fingertips data, and replace it with silly cartoon-like graphics instead, forcing lots of tapping and swiping to see the same info. 

No explanation yet from FitBit as to why they’ve made their dashboard much worse.
