Why does iOS app display different weight loss goals to the website?

In the Fitbit iOS app, the weight loss goals are:

'Easier' - lose 0.5 kg per week, -250 daily calories;

'Medium' - lose 1 kg per week, -500 daily calories;

'Kinda Hard' - lose 1.5 kg per week, -750 daily calories;

'Harder' - lose 2 kg per week, -100 daily calories.

On the website, the weightloss goals are:

'Easier' - lose 0.2 kg per week, -250 daily calories;

'Medium' - lose 0.5 kg per week, -500 daily calories;

'Kinda Hard' - lose 0.7 kg per week, -750 daily calories;

'Harder' - lose 0.9 kg per week, -100 daily calories.

Which is correct?

It looks to me like the website values are correct, or at least more typical. I've always heard that trying to lose more than 2 lb. each week is unsafe and the 'harder' plan on your iOS is recommending double that.

You may try logging out then logging back in to your app or even uninstalling then reinstalling it.

Thanks for the reply.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app previously and it made no difference - I think it's just wrong information in the iOS app.

MyFitnessPal has similar calorie/weight loss goals and their figures corroborate with the ones on the Fitbit website.
