@nasacpa   No screenshot is needed.  I followed your path and I understand what you are seeing.  I have a few observations.  Your Charge HR and Alta HR don't have an Exercise app.  If you were using SmartTrack with those devices, then I understand why you don't get a distance.  This distance is "exercise" distance.  SmartTrack doesn't record distance separately in the exercise details.  I usually don't use GPS with my regular walks because I know the distance.  I have many days with no exercise distance despite walking miles.  So I took a walk with my Versa 3 and GPS and the distance is there.  Are you using GPS with your Charge 4?  Try it and see.  I only use GPS for new and different activities, because it is such a battery hog.

I hope this helps.

@nasacpa   I am a long time Fitbit user and I am not sure what you are describing.  Can you post a screenshot?  A little more information will help.

Not sure how to take iPhone screen shots.

I go to the Dashboard.  Then to the 'number of days' I've exercised this week.  This takes me to the running figure, with 6 dots below it. Swiping left to the third screen shows "Distance (miles)".  It is always an empty graph, even though my FB tracks & reports my distance on the main screen of the Dashboard.  It has done this thru a Charge HR, Alta HR, and now a Charge 4.

Good catch.  I have not tested the GPS on my new C4 yet, and yes, I've seen the reports about how it really drains the battery.

I'm thinking about using it for the pace function a few times a week.
