Won't sync and says looking

I've charged, cleaned and reset my FitBit but it's not syncing. It hasn't for a few days now. This is getting very frustrating as I've had a few issues already saw them this is getting very frustrating as I've had a few issues since getting my fit bit flex a couple months ago. So far I've been able to solve them thpugh. Any ideas?

Mine has been doing the exact same- since Saturday. I've tried hooking it up to my computer, emailing customer service, resetting my device- NOTHING. So very frustrating because it was perfectly fine and I removed it from my account because it wouldn't sync- now it won't find my device.

Mine hasn't synced with steps for several days, maybe a week, and ive tried everything I can think of. Waiting for Fitbit battery to die so I can recharge and see if that helps.

Mine hasn't synced with my phone in 3 days either. Was there an update to the app recently that is causing this?

If you haven't done it already, please try these troubleshooting steps to resolve syncing issues with iOS devices provided by @DerrickS. Additionally, you can download the most recent app version for iOS devices (2.23.1). This should get you back on track.

 

@Jchandler1 I would recommend setting up your Fitbit tracker as a replacement device to your existing account as @Odyssey13 stated here. Let me know how it goes.

I am having exactly the same problems. Everything WAS syncing fine, then would need a few attempts and now just will not sync at all. I have tried both on my iPhone e and iPad. It co atay says looking as the Bluetooth symbol flashes.

I suspect the Fitbit itself has a problem with the Bluetooth because both my phone and iPad work fine with other Bluetooth devices.

I really don't want to lose the data - I've just done the local hospice Misnoght Walk to Remember 7 mile route and I want to keep the data. But looks like it will go.

I have done everything everyone else has, but am not going to 'add a new device' as it won't find it and I'm not Ruskin removing this one just on the off chance it suddenly holds the Bluetooth connection long enough to sync.

It's great to have you here. @KLBgettingFIT @Katechip If you are unable to sync your tracker by following the recommendations in my post above please be so kind to get in touch with Customer Support. Let them know the workarounds performed. They might be able to provide further assistance as soon as possible.

Same issue here and driving me crazy as I’m losing challenges when I have the steps. Trying from my iPhone 7plus and it says “Looking”. I bet this be my last Fitbit purchase seems to always be something with this thing.

Yes, this has been tough dealing with this issue.  I was just ordering 3 more as Christmas presents and now have stopped the order!  So frustrated.  My next move....MAC!
