Won’t sync

Fitbit Versa won’t sync with phone. Updated, turned on/off phone, Versa, and Bluetooth. Deleted and reinstalled app, deleted Versa from Bluetooth, all the steps I could find. Nothing works. Help!

Hi, 

 

Does it have anything in common with the update?

My Versa stopped recognising my walks and runs - very annoying as I try to do my best and it's completely pointless... 

 

Can anyone advice, please?

I had this experience yesterday too! Tried contacting support, their instructions didn't work. Followed very similar steps as your own which didn't work either. But after a few hours all of a sudden my app started to sync up again. Literally no idea what happened.

My Versa has been having sync issues too.  I have to manually instigate it to sync now when before I did not have too.  The biggest issue Im having is my leaderboard on my Versa - I went through all the steps deleting - re-installing - restart watch - turn Bluetooth off then on - removed Versa added it back on.  Was on the help chat for a half hour last night - said they were turning it over to the experts.  So now the app for the phone only says "Loading"  never changes!!!!

@katspa1 I am having the exact same issue. Leaderboard won't update and it's been a few days. Very frustrating. I read the community boards and deleted the Leaderboard app from my Versa and reinstalled. I get the same "Loading" message now. If you're having the exact same issue, I'm assuming it's a FitBit issue and not my watch. Everything else is syncing correctly.

 

Glad to know I am not alone but frustrated.

luckily all back to normal on my fitbit but I lost all day of logging my walks and runs.
I hope your fitbit started to work again!

mine keeps saying failed to sync as well. also won't recognize it on Bluetooth- I just got this fitbit two days. Never had problems -it bluetoothed fine the first time then wouldn't sync, so I was on the phone with fitbit help desk for almost 2 hours-they say they haven't heard of anything but the more I read the more its happening to everyone-PLEASE ADVISE!

Im so glad you also posted - I thought I was going crazy.  I have emailed about 5 people now trying to get this fixed.  All they do is keep asking for pictures and I keep sending.  I feel like they are just ignoring it.
