Wrong date on Fitbit App

ANSWERED

my inspire3 device shows the correct date and time, but the app on my iphone shows the latest day as 2 days earlier eg. today is Monday 17th, but the app is showing today's data as Saturday 15th.

Syncing seems to be fine.

Any ideas how to fix?

Hi Juan. Thanks for your reply.

I didn't take any further actions, but for some reason the app is now showing data for the correct date. So all sorted.

Thanks for your support!

@russ104 , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message and information.

Please make sure that you have the correct time zone selected on your phone and on the Fitbit App.

This and other tips can be found here: How do I change the time on my Fitbit device?

Hi Juan. Thank you for your comment.

The time is not the issue. The time on my device is correct for my time zone, and the info. on the app seems to reflect the current time accurately.

The issue is the date. Today is Wed. 19th, and this is showing on my device. However the app on my phone is showing today's data as Monday 17th.

Not sure how that could be a difference with time zones as there are no time zones with a difference of 48 hours...

@russ104 , Thank you for your reply!

I suggested you the info about the time zones, as we have seen by some users, after travelling, they have the right information on the phone's settings but they leave the settings in the app unchanged ( with the last time zone visited) and the exercise summaries' date gets saved wrong.

Please as a 1 time exception uninstall the Fitbit app.
Restart your phone (off/on)
Install the Fitbit app again and log in.

You might still see today's (and the previous records ) with the wrong date, but try to record another activity, to check if it's saved with the right one, this time around.
