My charge 2 worked fine until last week, then it stopped syncing properly . Its only 3 weeks old, so I went back to the shop, who said try deleting the app and reinstalling it. So I tried- but the app has just been updated-and won't reinstall on my iphone 8s (I think I use iOS 8). How do I get the old app back? The website says iOS 8 is fine- but the app says it needs iOS 10. any ideas?

@var, I moved this post to the iOS Help Forum. It should get more responses here from other iOS users.

Hello @var, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board. Thanks for keeping the boards organized @USAF-Larry, I really appreciate it.
@var, our team is constantly updating the Fitbit app and whenever a new iOS version comes along, the app gets optimized, which is why having the latest update is recommended. I would like to suggest updating the OS on your phone before downloading the latest version of the Fitbit app. This will prevent any syncing issues that you might have been experiencing at the moment.
Additionally, if after updating your phone and app, your tracker is still unable to sync, please check @HelenaFitbit's excellent tips and recommendations that have been proven very helpful for many people dealing with the same issues.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else!
