I haven't used my fitbit since 2017.  Upgraded to Versa 2 but the old unneeded data still shows up in my app.  how do I get rid of it?  it didn't go away when I deleted the old fitbit.  I have an Apple 8plus.

Hello @craftygater and a warm welcome.  Your data, no matter how old, is on the Fitbit servers as long as you have your account.  If you want to ignore this old data, you would need to set up a new account with a different email.   You can delete the old account, but you can't set up a new account under that original email for seven days.

I do NOT recommend deleting an old account/setting up a new account.  You lose all the progress you made towards your lifetime badges.  Also, a deleted account in unrecoverable, repeat, unrecoverable.

It's your data.  It represents your achievements.  Keep it. 😉
