I have a one that will sync with my phone (Windows 8.1), but will not sync with my iPad (iOS 12.4). I have restarted them both multiple times. This just started happening this afternoon. Any other suggestions?

I had this happen after iOS update recently i fixed like this.if you go to your device close the fit bit app by double clicking home button and closing it from there. Turn off Bluetooth in your settings, then turn it back on again.

launch Fitbit app and add a device WITHOUT deleting existing one this forced them to “reconnect” find each other again and then sync. It even got my data back from over 24 hours ago when the iOS update occurred

I’m seeing the same behavior with iOS and my One. Started today.

Not working for the Zip either. I’ve popped out the battery and deleted/installed the app with no luck.

Meanwhile, I was so eager to reply here that I didn’t slow to make sure the username I was entering was right. Another article says the only way to fix it if you “really need to” (I do) is through a moderator. That v really needs to be a b (hikrbabe was my original Fitbit One chatter name when I was training to climb a mountain...).

Thanks to anyone who can help with either issue.

I’m having the same issue today. Usually restarting my One fixes sync problems, but it didn’t work tonight. Tried uninstalling the app, turning Bluetooth on and off, nothing fixes it.

I am having the same issues. Restarted fitbit one, turned bluetooth on/off, restarted app, deleted app and reinstalled it. App is still looking for the fitbit.

I was able to get mine to work after I did another restart. There is a missing step in the restart. After you plug your one into the power source, hold down the button for 10-12 secs until the one turns off. Release the button, remove the one from the power source, then press the button until the screen turns on. The instructions does not tell you when to release the button.  Hope this helps. Good luck

I think it’s odd that my Fitbit will sync with my phone (which is not iOS) but it won’t sync with the iPad.

That worked, thank you!! Just an FYI for anyone trying this solution - when trying to add a device, pick your same model and then tap replace this device. I wasn't sure whether to click on replace or not, so I figured it would help if someone spelled it out.
