iOS 24 and 24.1

I have 2 flexes that I alternate between when I need to charge one of them. This means each week I need to "remove" and then set up a new device. This process has always worked smoothly for me - until iOS w.24 and 2.24.1 - I mistakenly thought that 2.24.1 would correct the problem. I have 2 iPhones (6 and 6 plus) and two iPads (both Air 2). We have had to install a very old version 2.12 as this was the last one saved in our iTunes library. Are you correcting the errors to the software? Or can you make 2.23 available in iTunes Store please?

Hi there @Agregory6. Good to see you in the Community!

The latest version which is the 2.24.1 is available in the App Store. Be sure to open it and if you have it already installed, update it to the latest one and if you have deleted it, download it from there to make sure you will have the latest version on your device.

In either case, you can aslo go from your browser to www.fitbit.com/us/app#download-now and this will give you the option to download it from the App Store directly.

Let me know if you need more help with this!

Hello, the two versions you mention are the ones that have caused the problem in the first place. Neither of them allow me to add a device - process halts part way through (after tapping, vibrating etc) - doesn't move to the next screen on any of my devices. That's why I'm using an old version that was (luckily) saved on m laptop.

@Agregory6 I would definitely recommend updating to 2.24.1 if you haven't already, especially since there are notable bug fixes in this version.

If you are having trouble adding a tracker on to your account after you update, I would recommend:

1. Restarting your tracker.

2. Rebooting your iOS device.

3. Open your iOS settings > turn Bluetooth of for 10 seconds > and then turn Bluetooth back on.

4. Use the instructions here to add a tracker to your account.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for your help but I'd already tried those - looked up help before posting. Have caved in now, purchased an Alta. So I have one Flex and one Alta I can alternate when charging. Spare flex has been stored...

I returned the Alta because it would not connect to any device other than my iPhone 6 Plus - so reinstalled the very old version 2.12 and everything works again. I'll be keeping an open for the next update because 2.24 and 2.24.1 are useless. Cheers.

I'll pass this along to our team to see if there are any other known similar scenarios.

Anthing else, let us know!
