iOS App Displaying Wrong Info on Previous Day Tiles

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I don't have any issues with syncing.
My Alta/Fitbit app/iOS are updated to the latest versions.

When I scroll back to view a previous days bottom statistics the tiles won't update!
(sleep, 250 steps, water, calories in/out, excecise goal, weight loss goal)

It shows my current statistics no matter how far back I go.

The top statistics will update: steps, miles, minutes active, calories burned....

Really frustrating if I'm trying to compare, or want to make sure I logged everything for the previous day.

Anyone have any suggestions? I used to use seperate apps to log my water, and food intake. I really don't want to go back to doing that again! (MyFitnessPal & Plant Nanny) They are great apps, just annoying to have to use 3 platforms that don't work together to keep track of everything.

Also I just noticed the Stair tile is missing? I tried to edit to add it back it and it's not even showing as an option...

Jmangla--

Unfortunately, what you describe is by design.  There have been several posts here about the new app not displaying all the data for previous days when viewing the previous day's statistics.  The answer from FitBit is that this is how it is designed to work--only the top tile updates to display previous day totals--to see the previous day totals for the bottom tiles, you need to click on that tile.

I do hope that Fitbit rethinks this design--when I look at yesterday's data, I want to see all yesterday's data--not some for today and some for yesterday!  I am still running an older version of the FitBit app and will continue to do so until it won't work anymore or FitBit changes the interface.

Yes they have told me this is part of the new update. It's quite ridiculous and I told them it doesn't even make a bit of sense. Makes me really dislike the app. What's the point of being able to scroll through previous days dashboards if the bottom tiles are displaying the current days info?!? The step counter, active minutes and calories burned at the top all show the proper info for each day on previous dashboards but all the tiles at the bottom, including sleep, calories-in, steps per hour and water consumption display current day info when you scroll back to previous days. Why on earth would the top portion be one way and the bottom tiles be anothe - who's the genius that designed this?!? The whole point of the dashboard is to be able to scroll back thru previous days and compare all parameters instead of having to go into each parameter's log individually. I as well really hope they come to their senses and put it back the way it was, I hate this new feature!

Hello @Jmangla@dordale and @Skoro, it's nice to see you around. Smiley Happy

We really appreciate our members's input and feedback and I would like to thank you for yours. Our team is always looking to improve the Fitbit experience and I would like to encourage you to check, comment and vote for @BobTheCat's suggested idea about the mobile Dashboard and how to improve it so it can display information from previous days in all the tiles when scrolling back.

@Jmangla, the reason the floor (stairs) tile is not showing up in your Dashboard is because the Alta doesn't have an altimeter; therefore, it doesn't count flights of stairs.

I hope this information can be useful, please feel free to reply if you need anything else!
