After the iOS Fitbit app updated to ver 3.37 either on 1/30 or 31, 2021 I cannot open the app. It flashes to a white screen with "fitbit" at the top and within a second or two the scree disappears like it has not loaded. Checking the background tasks running I see the same screen, clicking on it results in it going to full screen and then crashing again. This is on an iPhone 8 Plus running iOS 14.4.
Anyone experience this problem and solved it?

Hey man I had this issue too. I uninstalled Fitbit from my phone and then reinstalled (restarted phone in between for good measure) and the app is working again for me. Give it a try
Yes I have just had the same problem and sent details to twitter support. Exactly the same issue but I have an iPhone 6s running OS 14.3. If you are on twitter follow twitter support to see my tweet to them. Brian
Best AnswerEarlier this morning I removed the fitbit app from my iphone, restarted the iphone and fitbit app is now functioning correctly. It actually seems to be slightly better than it had been prior to the problem. Thanks to those who replied with the same problem corrected in the same manner.

Best AnswerWhen I try to delete the app I get the pop up message 'Deleting this app will also delete its data'. Did you also get that warning? Is it to be ignored? Thanks

Best AnswerI had previously reported the problem that after the 3.37 update on my iPhone XS, the FitBit app came up with a blank screen, then with FitBit on the top and a gray bar at the bottom. Resetting the phone didn’t help.
I was getting ready to uninstall/reinstall the app, However, today I just opened the app and let it sit on that blank FitBit screen for over a minute. Suddenly, the whole screen appeared, and the FitBit app is working fine. It syncs well, and I’ve shut down FitBit and restarted it several times, and it’s still working.
I’m writing this report from my formerly nonfunctional FitBit app - no problems. All it took was a bit of patience. Frankly, I’ve never seen an app fix itself, so that’s one for the books!
Best AnswerPatience has nothing to do with it.
I tried 3 times with a blank screen open for more than 10 minutes. This is a fault that has been reported, and Fitbit have replied to me about it.
I had to DELETE the app, restart my iPhone and then install new version from the Apple Store.
