iOS App showing blank screen when opened.

When I open the Fitbit app on my iPhone 5s, it just opens up a white screen and then nothing - no error messages, nothing.

I have closed and reopened the app, that did not resolve it.  I checked and made sure that Date & Time were set to update automatically (a suggestion made back in July).

I logged into my account on my computer, but can't find the option to sync my Fitbit to my computer even though I have the dongle installed.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, our engineers are aware of the problem and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible. In the meantime, please reply to me with the following information so I can check this further:

  • Which iOS is your phone currently running?
  • Have you updated the app recently?
  • Have you restarted your phone recently?

I'm sorry for any inconvenience this situation has caused. I appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track. In case there's anything else I can do for you, please don't hesitate to reply as well.

I restarted my phone and it worked again.  Not sure if the engineers managed to fix the problem in the interim or restarting the phone fixed it.

I used to be able to sync to my computer (via the dongle) as an alternative -- that option doesn't seem to be available or do I need to set something up again?

I am also experiencing this.  Restarting my phone doesn’t work.  I delted and reinstalled... and it worked for 1 sync but then the same thing happens.
