I can logon to the website fine but using the same credentials don't work on the iPhone. iOS version 13.3.1. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling app. Tried logging in with WiFi turned off - nothing works......
Any ideas?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and sharing the steps that you've tried on your own. Nice job! Given that the Fitbit app is still not allowing you to access to your Fitbit account, may I know if you're getting an error message? If so, please take a screenshot of it and attach it in your reply. Also, even though you reinstalled the Fitbit app, make sure you have downloaded the latest version to the latest version and if possible try using mobile data instead of WiFi connection to see how it goes.
