iOS app freezing

Anyone else having a problem with iOS app and it freezing. Every time I open the app it freezes within about 15 seconds and needs to be closed and re-opened. It’s totally up to date. 

Wondering if anyone else having this issue as I’ve just ordered a new device but I won’t be able to use the app with it if this doesn’t get sorted

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, tell me, since when have you experienced this situation? Have you updated the Fitbit app recently?

 

At this moment we don't have reports of the app freezing or crashing, so at this moment I would like to suggest you to restart your phone, then open the Fitbit app and check if it freezes again. If it does, please reply to me so I can check this further.

Hello,

I went to open my Fitbit app on my iMac this morning to sync a new playlist. My Fitbit app will not open at all. I thought I'd reinstall it, but when I searched the App store the Fitbit Connect app doesn't even come up when I search for it.

Hi there, I have the most recent update ambit I’ve not used the app for a long time but just ordered a new device so was wanting to get into it. Again I’m using now and it keep freezing.

@jls1983026, please note that "Fitbit Connect" is not available through the App Store in your Mac. If you'd like to download it again, please check the following link: Fitbit Setup.

 

@JillerM, I appreciate you have already tried the troubleshooting steps I've provided earlier and updated the Fitbit app. Tell me, which feature are you seeing when the app freezes? Would it be possible for you to reply to me with a screenshot? That will be very helpful to me to check this further.

Thanks so much for following up.
I deleted the app and reinstalled it and it is now fine and no longer crashing.
