Hi there guys.
I have been having issues with logging food via the ios app for quite some time and it never seems to be resolved with updates. When I enter several food items and check the log, it has only logged about half the food items that I have selected. The dashboard calorie total does update. Syncing does nothing to bring up the total items entered. The only way to get them to show up in the list is to restart the app. When the app reloads, all the items show up after about 10 sec. and the calorie amount updates for that particular meal also. It appeares the app needs a refresh option as well as sync.
Anyone else have this issue? I am using the latest ios app on iPhone 4s.
Regards

Yes I started having this problem after the latest app update. Along with repeated crashes. I'm using an iPhone 6s.

The matter apears to have been resolved with the latest app update. This was recommended by Fitbit Support and on my iphone it is now working as it should.
Thanks

Welcome to our Community @mlim24! Hope you're doing great! I'd like to know if you have updated your iOS Fitbit App to the latest version? If you already did, please try to log out and log back in the app and see if you're allowed to log food.
Let me know how it goes!

Yes, I have the current version of the app and my iPhone 6S Plus is fully updated. However, it keeps happening. I entered my breakfast (3 items) this morning a couple hours ago. I just opened up the app to look at the dashboard, and one of the items has disappeared. I've noticed several other people complaining of the same issue in the forums. I've been logging food/water for over a year, and it just started happening with the most recent version of the app. Very annoying!!! Please fix it.

Also, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Still not working correctly...

I'm having exactly the same issue as first poster, GaryH - recent app update has not fixed and it has gotten worse recently. I'm running the lastest version IOS on an iphone 6 plus. I too have to quit and reload the app to get it to show all the entries, though the caloric count appears to be correct. Thank you.

HI,
I'm also having this issue and it appears to be getting worse. There are lots of sync problems with the IOS APP since this latest round of updates. It would be great if someone passed this info on to the Fitbit engineers.

Welcome to the Fitbit Forums @Zesder! Could you check in your online Dashboard if after adding the food through your mobile app it appears there?

Hi,
When I enter food on the IOS app, only about half of the items log and often the app crashes. This is a sync problem between the app and fitbit.com. I'm also having the same issue logging exercise. I've been having these issues for a couple of weeks and would like to know if there is any progress made toward a solution. I can log on fitbit.com, but the app is so much more convenient and has worked well for me for a cuple of years until the last two weeks.

I have the same problem when entering food. The app crashes when I enter a food item, when I open it again the food item is sometimes not on my list but the calories have been added to my total. Again though sometimes not! It is very agravating I am continuosly closing the app and reopening when trying to enter a meal. I have not had this problem however doing anything else with the app, the connection and sync to the fitbit is fine and I have not had the problem with the exercise protion that others are reporting.

Hi all,
There seems to be two different food logging issues happening in this thread, I will do my best to address them.
@tomandandy @chippy2 @Melannmarie The App crash that you all were experiencing should be resolved with the release of Fitbit iOS App version 2.21.1 that was released this morning. If you haven't already updated, click here to be redirected to the iOS App Store.
@Zesder @Pinkie56 @mlim24 @Sandheaver @Melannmarie What you all are describing is a known issue that our team is currently working to resolve. Since this is an App-related issue, you should still be able to see all of your food data on your Fitbit.com food log while this issue is being worked on.
Hope this provides some clarification for everybody.
