iOS app not summarizing workout data properly

I’m having an issue with the app. I’ve looked into it, and from other threads, it seems to be an issue with apps and the way they process data from the Ionic and later. I have the Versa.

Basically, when I log my exercise and categorize it as “weights” or use the smart track function for weights, the summary and stats sharing screen shows stats like pace and distance instead of time, calories burned, and whatever else is supposed to be there. I like being able to share my stats on social media, and this is making it difficult but. I understand this isn’t a new issue, so I just wanted to put it out there as another complaint in hopes it’ll be addressed soon.

*UPDATE ON BELOW*

this fix only seemed to help for a short time and then reverts back to displaying incorrect details again 😤!

Had the same problem and found this in another thread. Worked for me!

I’ve been trying to get Fitbit to help but the guys I’ve spoken/chatted to are clueless!! The extract below was from a Fitbit help guy in another post and the workaround seemed to work but they need to do an update as is obviously a glitch. Give it s go 👍🏼

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon > your device image.
  2. Tap Exercise Shortcuts
  3. Swipe left on Weight exercise shortcut and remove it.
  4. Log out of your Fitbit app.
  5. Force quit the app.
  6. Turn off the Bluetooth.
  7. Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  8. Turn on the Bluetooth.
  9. Log back into your Fitbit app.
  10. Tap Exercise Shortcuts.
  11. Re-add Weight shortcut by tapping the + icon and selecting it.

Thank you! I’ll try that before my next session. I’m hoping it works. This issue is just annoying me, lol.

So will this work for the other exercise categories that are doing the same thing? I just did this for weights also so we’ll see tomorrow if that worked. Thanks.
